Office Administration Support Announcements-Announcements are sent
to students on a regular and on-going basis and
on a need basis, regarding various issues. This
tool allows students to receive important notices
and circulars issued by the university from time
to time.
Helpdesk-
Electronic Post Office-Thanks to internet
and E-Mail service, 80% of the communication with
the students and learning centres is done via
E-Mail and only 20% communication via other means
such as telephone/fax/post. Any person from anywhere
in the world can send a E-mail to Helpdesk and
can be rest assured of a prompt reply within 24
hrs.(excluding holidays). The HelpDesk receives
around 50 E-mails daily and majority of them from
students where they send their complaints, suggestions
and enquiries. Organizations around the world
willing to be a part of the Learning Network also
send their applications to the HelpDesk.
Designing
& Publishing of Books-
The courseware books are
authored by our faculty, academicians and industry
experts, designed (start-to-finish) and published
by our printers to provide excellent print quality.
A regular sampling is done to ensure quality check.

CD covers and Mass Courseware CD Production-
We have in-house
CD production facility where courseware CDs can
be produced in large numbers. A regular sampling
is done to ensure quality check. The CD covers,
stickers and labels are designed by our expert
graphic designers.
Courseware
Dispatch and Delivery-
Courseware in the form of
multimedia CD & Books are dispatched to students
on per semester basis and the dispatch record
is maintained both manually & electronically.
We have strategic tie-ups with top courier agencies
for prompt courseware delivery and easy status
tracking. The Record-keeping of content-dispatched
is done through an interface provided in our MIS.
The data gets regularly updated on the website
thereby enabling the students to view his/her
current courseware status.
Placement
Assistance- Lovely
Infotech has strategic tie-ups with various placement
agencies to provide suitable placement assistance
to the students.

Office Academic Support Student-Faculty
Chat Session Chat-
Session facilitates the
students to interact with Faculty and their batch-mates
by exchanging written messages in real time. For
this, both the users need to be online simultaneously
and logged on to the Virtual Campus. We have full
time dedicated for answering student queries in
chat session.
Discussion
Forum-
Faculty answers student
queries placed in discussion forum, which is an
offline tool, used by the students for posting
descriptive queries. This is an excellent collaboration
tool for peer-to-peer discussions among students.
Whiteboard
Session-Online Faculty
takes a white board session for subjects where
explanations cannot be made through text alone.
This session takes place in real-time.
E-Mail-
Students can
send their questions to the faculty by E-Mail
and the same are replied within 48 hours by the
faculty.
File
Sharing-
In order to make learning
more effective, case-studies and exercises prepared
by our faculty are shared among the students via
this tool. Thus, students can discuss and work
collectively on the various tasks given by the
faculty.
Ask
Doubt- This
facility allows students to post their academic
queries to the faculty. Also a log of all the
queries posted and answered is maintained.
Assignments-
Students are
given periodic assignments in each semester for
continuous evaluation. Our faculty as per the
specific examination pattern prepares the assignments
and the students have the facility to send the
same by mail or send them Online. Our faculty
shall then award marks/grades to the students
as per the pattern laid down by the organization.
Online
Tests-
The LMS has a facility whereby
students are given Online Tests that could be
multiple choice, true/false, match the following,
fill in the blanks and also subjective type tests.
Personal
Contact Programme (PCP)-
The students enrolled in
various programmes can avail Personal Contact
Programme facility in each semester to clarify
their doubts face-to-face with faculty.The schedule
for contact classes is put up on the Web Site
in advance. Students are also notified the timetable
and venue for the contact programme by E-mail,
newsletter and post.
Practical
Tasks/Exercises-
The students
are given number of tasks and exercises by the
faculty to provide sufficient practical exposure
to the topics covered in the courseware. Students
are given lab-books incase of IT programmes and
case studies incase of Management programmes.
Resources
and Reference Material-
Our faculty
has developed a huge repository of reference books,
tutorials, white papers, journals, links to selective
websites for providing additional learning facilities
to students.
